Reverend Randy Wells and Dan Gatewood were sworn in to Precincts 1 and 4, respectively.

Rev. Wells will fill the seat previously held by Richard Powell, who died in October after three years on the board.  Gatewood will serve in the spot formerly held by Stacy Aschenbeck, who resigned in September.  These two will serve the unexpired terms concluding in May 2021.

Rev. Wells is the Executive Director of Faith Mission, president of the Washington County Ministerial Association, and serves on several local boards.

Gatewood formerly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Texas State Guard, and is currently a member of the Institute for Supply Management Certification Committee and the Supply Chain Management Association.

Prior to the swearing-in ceremonies for Gatewood and Rev. Wells, Blinn recognized Aschenbeck for her three years on the board, with a plaque and bouquet.
