BLINN COLLEGE TO HOLD ITS FIRST FALL GRADUATION IN BRYAN

  

Blinn College will host its first fall graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. this  Friday at the Bryan Civic Auditorium located at 800 S. Coulter Dr. and in addition to being Blinn’s first fall graduation, it also marks the College’s first graduation ceremony to be held in Bryan.

Blinn will host a reception for graduates and their families at 4:30 p.m. in the Barbara L. Pearson Banquet Room located in the Bryan campus Student Center. More than 200 students have applied for graduation this Spring, and approximately 100 are expected to be on hand for commencement.

Two students will speak during the ceremony – Vanessa Martinez, a criminal justice and law enforcement major from Brenham who attends the Brenham campus, and Juan De Lira, a biology major from Ontario, Oregon, attending the Bryan campus.

Martinez looks forward to working as a peace officer following graduation, and DeLira plans to attends Texas A&M University and earn his Bachelor of Science in nutrition, then go to dental school.
