BLINN MEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO JACKSONVILLE, 1-0

Diego Berlingeri totals nine saves in the game

BRENHAM, Texas — The Blinn College men’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the season to Jacksonville College, 1-0, at Rankin Field Friday.
With the loss, the Buccaneers are now 2-1 overall and in conference play.
Goalkeeper Diego Berlingeri totaled nine saves in the game.
Although the Buccaneers had seven shots against Jacksonville, they never could land on the board.
Blinn and Jacksonville remained scoreless until the 89th minute when the Jaguars scored on a free kick to pull ahead 1-0.
Next, the Buccaneers will travel to compete against No. 3 Tyler Junior College on Tuesday, April 13, at 4 p.m.
