BLINN MEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO NORTHEAST TEXAS, 2-0

Buccaneers’ strong defense not enough in loss

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas — Blinn College men’s soccer (2-2, 2-2) fell to Northeast Texas Community College, 2-0, on Friday night.
The Buccaneers used a strong defense to hold the Eagles to two goals, but struggled offensively.
Northeast Texas took a 1-0 lead after scoring in the 28th minute and extended its lead to 2-0 in the 49th minute.
With the loss, Blinn’s overall record and conference record drops to 2-2.
Blinn College men’s soccer will continue conference play on the road against Paris Junior College on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 5:00 p.m
