BLINN NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Blinn College has named a new Associate Degree Nursing Program Director.
Karla Ross is a 12-year healthcare professional with eight years’ experience as a Blinn nursing instructor.
Ross says she’s excited to further her career with Blinn’s Associate Degree Nursing Program, and her familiarity with the program will be beneficial.
Ross has been a nursing instructor since 2010 and served as the program’s interim director since January. Under her direction, Blinn ADN students posted a 96.4 percent overall pass rate on the national licensure examination in 2018.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M International; and a Master of Science in Nursing degree in clinical research management from Texas Tech. She is nearing completion on a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in educational leadership from American Sentinel University.
