BLINN POSTPONES SPRING COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

Blinn College has announced it will postpone its Spring 2020 commencement and pinning ceremonies, in light of COVID-19.

At the College’s Board of Trustees meeting this (Thursday) morning, Vice Chancellor Karen Buck said those ceremonies will be rescheduled for late summer or early fall, when local, state, and federal restrictions allow for it and when it is safe for the Blinn College Community to come together again.

Buck said the College recognizes its commencement and pinning ceremonies present an opportunity for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments and be recognized for their hard work.

Buck said Blinn will begin planning ceremonies for Spring 2020 graduates “as soon as health conditions and guidelines allow”.
