BLINN SUMMER ENROLLMENT, SLIGHTLY AHEAD OF LAST YEAR

Blinn College has announced that its 2018 Summer II enrollment is slightly ahead of last year’s numbers.

4,286 students registering for the Summer II session, a slight increase over the 4,265 students who enrolled in the 2017 Summer II term.

This year’s enrollment includes 2,264 students enrolled in online courses, 1,671 students on the Blinn-Bryan Campus, and 212 students at Blinn-Brenham. Students enrolled in 290,640 Summer II contact hours.

Blinn also saw a slight increase in May Minimester and Summer I enrollment this year.

As Blinn continues to register students for the Fall semester, it also prepares to open Mill Creek Hall, a 464-bed student housing facility on the Brenham Campus, and the Walter C. Schwartz Building at The Texas A&M University System’s RELLIS Campus.

Registration is now open for Blinn’s Fall semester, which begins Monday, Aug. 27.  College officials recommend that students register early to reserve high-demand courses. Blinn’s first payment deadline takes place at the end of the day Wednesday, and beginning Friday, payment is due the same day as registration.
