BLINN SUMMER ENROLLMENT UP OVER 2018

  

Blinn College’s Summer I and II terms both saw increases in enrollment this year.

Blinn registered 6,249 students for the Summer I semester, a 1.2 percent increase over 2018.  Meanwhile, 4,473 students registered for Summer II, 4.6 percent more than last year.

Online courses made up a large portion of student enrollment.  For the Summer I term, 3,534 students registered for online courses, a 7.5 percent increase over 2018.  Summer II saw 2,653 students register for online courses, a 17.2 percent increase.

For Summer I, Blinn registered 2,161 students on the Bryan Campus, 194 at the RELLIS Campus, 126 at the Health Science Center, 98 at the Brenham Campus, 62 high school students enrolled in dual credit, and 18 students apiece at the Schulenburg and Sealy campuses.  Blinn totaled 468,672 Summer I contact hours, a 0.9 increase over 2018.

Summer II enrolled 1,384 students at the Bryan Campus, 175 at the Brenham Campus, 158 at the RELLIS Campus, 41 at the Health Science Center, 34 in high school dual credit courses, 18 at the Sealy Campus, and ten at the Schulenburg Campus.  Blinn’s Summer II contact hours totaled 308,432, a 6.4 percent increase over last year.
