BLINN SELECTED #1 IN SOUTHWEST CONFERANCE FOOTBALL PRESEASON POLL1

The Blinn Buccaneer football team was selected as the #1 team in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference (SWJCFC). They were picked to win the conference in both the Coaches and Media Polls, however Kilgore was a close second in both. Blinn received (6) 1st place first in the media, but only (1) in the Coaches poll. Kilgore received (5) first place votes in the coaches poll, but still finished second to Blinn.

The Bucs open their season Aug. 24th as they take on Texas A&T. The game kicks off at 7:00p at Cub Stadium. That game will be broadcast on KWHI - AM 1280, FM 101.7, and KWHI.com.
