BLUEBONNET COOPERATIVE TO HOST ANNUAL MEETING AND BOARD ELECTION
Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative is hosting their annual meeting and board election on Tuesday, May 10th at the Sons of Hermann Hall in Giddings. Registration will take place from 1:30pm until 2:30pm and the meeting will begin promptly at 2:30pm.
The annual meeting offers members the opportunity to meet the Board of Directors. Four of the 11 seats on Bluebonnet’s Board of Directors are up for election this year. There are 6 candidates on the ballot. From District 1 – Milton Shaw. From district 3 – Dustin Haisler, Frank Skube, and Kathleen Handy. From district 5 – Ben Flencher, and from district 7 – Kenneth Mutscher. The three incumbent directors in districts 1, 5, and 7 are running unopposed.
Co-op members that cannot attend the meeting can vote by proxy. Mailed proxies must be hand-delivered to a member service center or mailed and postmarked by 5:30pm May 3rd.
