BOOTS AND GEMS SATURDAY IN NAVASOTA
The 1st Annual Boots and Gems takes place tomorrow (Saturday) in Navasota.
Starting at 5 p.m. at the 7-D Ranch, the dinner and dance will feature live music from the Pat Waters Band, and a silent auction. The skeet shooting portion of the event has been cancelled, due to lack of teams signing up.
Texas Veterans Ranch founder Alondo Waters says the event goes towards the Texas Veterans Ranch and Family Resort. He says the resort helps military veterans and their families, who are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Tickets for the dinner and dance for 2 are $200. Guests will also be able to purchase dance tickets for $35, tomorrow night.
The silent auction and cash bar opens at 5 p.m., with dinner and dancing beginning at 7 p.m.
