BRENHAM AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO CONSIDER INCREASED LEASE SPACE FOR HANGAR

The Brenham Airport Advisory Board will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon to discuss a request for increased lease space for an existing hangar.

The board will consider a request to allow Brent Nedbalek to expand the lease area to include a larger area to the south of the current hangar at 2901 Aviation Way.

At its meeting in December of 2018, the board approved a request from Nedbalek allowing for a 15-foot expansion to the rear of that hangar.  This expansion would not only increase the lease area, but would include improvements not currently listed in the existing lease agreement.

The board will also consider appointing two of its members to serve on the consultant selection committee for a TxDOT grant regarding the runway bump project.  The project implementation meeting for the grant was held on January 24th.

TxDOT will submit the request for qualifications in March, which will be due back to TxDOT by May.  The qualifications will be sent out to the committee, who will review them and select a consultant for the project.

In addition, board members will look at electing a chair and vice chair for this year.

The board will meet tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 p.m., at the Brenham Municipal Airport at 3001 Aviation Way.
