BRENHAM AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO DISCUSS STATUS OF AIRPORT PROJECTS

The Brenham Airport Advisory Board will go over the progress of several ongoing Brenham Municipal Airport projects at its meeting this (Tuesday) afternoon.

After electing a chair and vice chair for the board for 2020, board members will discuss the city’s Fixed Base Operator (FBO) agreement with Aviators Plus and the company’s proposed new FBO building.  The board will also hear an update on the city’s ground space lease agreement with the company for an AvGas fuel tank.

Also on the agenda for the evening are updates on the airport runway lighting and runway bump repair projects, along with discussion of airport pavement maintenance and development procedures.

The board will also consider potential revisions to the minimum standards for the airport, along with a request for the construction of a new hangar at the airport.  It will then discuss any current issues regarding airport operations and future needs, including possible improvements or other development.

The board will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at the airport, located at 3001 Aviation Way.
