BRENHAM ANGLERS COMPETE IN STATE BASS TOURNAMENT

Brenham Anglers competed in the Texas High School Bass Association’s tournament on Lake Somerville on February 10, 2018.

There were a total of 186 teams from 35 different schools/organizations that competed.  Brenham Anglers was named the Tournament Champions with their 3 highest teams bringing in over 50 pounds.

Brenham Anglers had 5 teams that placed in the top 20%.

  • 1st place team was Landon Benson and boat captain Andy Randermann.  Landon weighed in 5 fish totaling 21.19 pounds and earned a $1,000 scholarship.
  • 5th place team was Travis Sallach/Bailey Fish and boat captain Doug Herms.  They weighed in 15.11 pounds.
  • 8th place team was Reid Aschenbeck and boat captain Colton Anders.  They weighed in 13.99 pounds.
  • 28th place was Colton Jaster and boat captain Brent Sauble.  They weighed in 6.91 pounds.
  • 32nd place was Joel Batchman and boat captain Matt Hollingsworth.  They weighed in 6.33 pounds.

    It would be nice to know all the scores/placings for the entire Brenham Anglers, not just the top 20%….
