BRENHAM ANGLERS TAKE 2ND AT LAKE SOMERVILLE

This past Saturday the Brenham Anglers competed in the Texas High School Bass Association’s tournament on Lake Somerville.  Out of the 22 schools that competed, Brenham Anglers placed 2^nd overall as a team.

There were 144 individual teams that competed.  The team of Micah Hueske/Carson Holton with boat captain John Hueske placed 3^rd with a total weight of 13.39 pounds.

Other teams placing and receiving awards in the tournament were:
10^th place: Logan Schwartz/Clayton Schwartz with boat captain Carter Akers had 10.19 pounds
15^th place: Jackson Corn/Parker Mason with boat captain Cody Nienstedt had 9.45 pounds
17^th place: Braden Gaertner/Tucker Saunders with boat captain Kenneth Gaertner had 8.76 pounds
19^th place: Kade Rau/Dawson Draehn with boat captain Matt Hollingsworth had 8.26 pounds
20^th place: Ian Cales/Hayden Hupe with boat captain Ande Bostain had 8.25 pounds
