BRENHAM ANIMAL SERVICES ALL SET TO “CLEAR THE SHELTER”

  

Anyone considering pet adoption has a great opportunity this weekend at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center.

“Clear the Shelter” is set for tomorrow (Saturday) at the adoption center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Brenham Animal Services Manager Allison Harper says this is the adoption center’s third year of observing the national campaign, which offers prospective pet parents a chance to make a difference for a shelter pet.

 

Harper says there may be long lines, so people should be prepared to wait outside for a bit.  There will be vendors onsite to help everyone stay cool, in addition to a porta cool, tents, water, and Kona Ice.  There will also be a porta potty from K&H Portable Toilets on site.

Guests can also look forward to a drawing for donated items, and goody bags from Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is located at 1804 Longwood Drive.  KWHI will have a live broadcast from the adoption center tomorrow morning, with the Wagon Wheel of Prizes.
