BRENHAM CHRISTMAS STROLL CONTINUES SATURDAY

  

 

The City of Brenham’s Christmas Stroll continues today (Saturday) in downtown.

Events kicked off Friday night with local girl scouts will singing Christmas carols and the lighting of the trees at the courthouse.

Events continue this morning with Breakfast with Santa at Must Be Heaven at 8 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.

There will also be a drive-thru toy drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center.  All donations will stay in Washington County.

Holiday shopping continues with a second day of the Jingle Bell Market at the Ant Street Inn from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Customers shop at the Farmer and Artisan Market on Baylor and Park Streets.

Meanwhile, 29 downtown businesses will take part in “A Taste of Christmas,” a shop and sample event presented by Main Street Brenham.  From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., shoppers can sample holiday drinks, snacks and desserts at participating businesses.

The courthouse and grounds are lit up by the festive Christmas light.

The Christmas Stroll will not include the lighted parade through downtown due to COVID-19 concerns.
