BRENHAM CITY OFFICIALS TO HOST BUDGET WORKSHOP, PUBLIC HEARING ON GRANT PROGRAM THURSDAY

Brenham city officials will be busy Thursday with a pair of afternoon meetings.

At 4 p.m., the Brenham City Council will hold a special workshop to further discuss and review the proposed 2020-21 Fiscal Year budget.  The meeting, which is being held as a follow-up to the budget workshop on July 16th, will take place in the ballroom of the Barnhill Center, and is open to the public.

At 5:30 p.m., city staff will hold a public hearing to discuss the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program, along with what city projects are eligible for the program.  The public hearing will be held at Brenham City Hall.

City Manager James Fisher said seating at both venues will be spaced out to allow attendees to socially distance.
