BRENHAM F.D. EXPRESSES GRATITUDE FOR SUCCESSFUL FISH FRY

  

The Brenham Fire Department is expressing their gratitude for another successful fish fry.

The Brenham Fire Department hosted their annual fish fry March 23rd to the delight of over 1,460 people.

According to Chief Ricky Boeker, this year was the third largest fish fry since the inception in 2000.  Boeker says it is one of the department’s main fundraisers, and the support they receive every year is something they truly appreciate.

Boeker says the department feels, “the annual fish fry is the first community event of spring. It means Easter is near, which is always a reason to celebrate.”

Boeker says, “It gives everyone a chance to come out and enjoy a good meal and visit with friends they haven’t seen in a while,”

Boeker went on to thank everyone who turned out and supported the department.

Funds raised from the fish fry will be for updating firefighting equipment.

Boeker went on to say, “every member of the Brenham Fire Department and the Ladies Auxiliary thanks everyone for their continued support.”
