BRENHAM F.D. MAKES EARLY MORNING RUN

  

The Brenham Fire Department was dispatched early this (Tuesday) morning to a report of a fence on fire near a home.

The department was called to the 800 block of West Jefferson just before 4:30 this morning.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a small fire at the base of the fence with no threat to a nearby home.

The fire was extinguished after members found a pile of charcoal on the opposite side of the fence that had been discarded by the homeowner.

All units cleared the scene and returned to service without incident.
