BRENHAM F.D. RESPONDS TO CALLS

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out to two incidents yesterday.

The first was just before 9:30 a.m. for an accident at 36 North and Old Dixie Road.

According to the department, there was fluid on the roadway from a crash.

The department used dry absorbent and brooms and shovels to clean fluids off roadway from the crash.

Then the department was dispatched just after 5:00 p.m. to a fire alarm at 1503 East Highway 290 East.

At the scene they found that a TV was overheating due a food warmer on counter.

Firefighters took care of the situation.
