  1. With all the talk with the fire department and ems and county officials. Why is the Brenham fire dept fightingI a fire in Chappell hill Where is the Chappell hill Fire dept at. That is why we have volunteer fire dept in different areas of the county I taught.

Also I taught the trying to cut the budget down in the city and in the fire dept. going to more accidents will cost more in fuel and then the trucks will have to many miles on them they be wanting a new truck more money

    1. The story says it was a “mutual aid” call, which means they were probably assisting the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Dept.

    2. The Chappell Hill fire Dept was first on scene, Brenham is auto dispatched as mutual aid to assist. This is a policy that has been in place for years to ensure we have enough equipment and personnel on scene to ensure safety and reduce property loss.
