BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Sunday just after midnight, Brenham Fire Department responded to 1500 Salem Road for a vehicle accident with a person trapped inside. BFD used extrication equipment to gain access to one victim inside the vehicle.

Also on Sunday at a little after 4:42am, BFD responded to 14235 William Penn Rd for an auto accident involving a person trapped inside the vehicle. BFD used the extrication equipment to lift the vehicle and freed one person.

Sunday night at 10:09 pm, BFD responded to 111 U.S. Highway 290 E at Starbucks for a fire investigation. Upon arrival, BFD found that a motor on a cooler had shorted out, causing a small fire. The employees had the fire out before the fire department arrived, and were advised to call a repairman to fix the motor.

And early this (Monday) morning at 12:09 am, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 9824 FM390 East for a vehicle incident with a person trapped inside. BFD units arrived and found one vehicle upside down with no one trapped inside. The fire department stood by and cleaned fluids from the roadway.
