BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. PASSES STATE COMPLIANCE INSPECTION

The Brenham Fire Department passed its latest inspection from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP).

On Wednesday, TCFP performed a biennial compliance inspection at the fire department, as required by state administrative code.  In a memo to former fire chief Ricky Boeker, TCFP Compliance Officer Ernie Null said the department is “in compliance with the minimum TCFP standards.”  The inspection found no violations.

According to Boeker, the fire department’s career personnel are regulated by TCFP and inspected to ensure the department has the proper operation standards in place.  The state also inspected the department’s documentation for self-contained breathing apparatuses, along with personal protective equipment care and maintenance.

In the memo to Boeker, Null said “You and your staff are to be commended in your efforts to insure the safety and wellbeing of your firefighters.  I wish to express my thanks and appreciation for the assistance and cooperation provided by you and your staff.  It was a pleasure visiting your agency.”
