Last week, the group donated a selection of gently used elementary books to the Omega International School in China at Krause Elementary School.

Omega International School is implementing a new primary English program for students in kindergarten through second grade.  The Omega team has been studying Brenham ISD’s approach to reading, writing, and STEAM at Krause Elementary School, in an effort to enhance and develop education of primary children in China.

Fortnightly President Barbara Wurhrmund joined Vivian Lee and the Omega team, along with Brenham ISD students and representatives, in the Krause Elementary School library to exchange the books, and a token of their appreciation.

The effort was made possible through Brenham ISD’s partnership with Omega International, as part of an ongoing project with the Blinn College Foundation.
