Brenham High School Band student Daniel Ward has earned a spot in the TMEA 5A All State Band.

According to Brenham High School Band Director Eric Rettig, it has been over a decade since a clarinetist has been able to earn a spot in the all-state band.

Others who participated in the Area Auditions include:

Oboe: Korrigan Korthauer

E flat Clarinet: Hunter Pomykal

 B flat Clarinets: Jaqui Deans, Daniel Ward

Bass Clarinet: Kendall Chambers

Alto Saxophone: Raymond Kubeczka

Trumpet: Cameron Daake,
