A Brenham High School senior has been nationally recognized for her academic achievement.
Mary Whaley was selected by the College Board as a National Hispanic Scholar.
The College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program identifies academically outstanding Hispanic and Latino high school students.
Hispanic Scholars are chosen from a pool of students that scored in the top 2.5 percent of Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT test-takers in the students’ region.
