BRENHAM ISD BOARD NARROWS SUPERINTENDENTS LIST TO SIX
The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees narrowed their list for superintendent down to six at their meeting on Monday night, spending three hours in Executive Session to decide who would make the short list of applicants.
Applications for superintendent were due February 17th.
The TASB consultant Marian Strauss said the meeting was good, and the Board would start interviewing in the six next week.
A new superintendent became necessary when Sam Bell resigned his position after serving as superintendent since 2009.
Candidates for the final list will not be announced until the end of March, and the Board hopes to have a new superintendent in place by April 20th.
