BRENHAM ISD BOARD TO MEET MONDAY

The Brenham School Board is set to meet Monday evening.

On the agenda will be an update from Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson on the school district’s goals and priorities, an update on the advanced placement and pre-advanced placement programs, a campus principal instructional update, and an update on construction and renovations projects.

The board will also consider a safety fencing project.  Assistant Superintendent Paul Aschenbeck said the district is considering the possibility of putting in fencing to help make the junior high campus more secure.

Board members will also give recognition to advanced placement scholars and this month’s recipient of the “You Make a Difference” award.  The board will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel matters.

The board will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m., in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.
