BRENHAM JR. HIGH STUDENTS COMPETE AT REGIONAL HISTORY FAIR
Students from Brenham Jr. High School participated in the Brazos Valley Regional History Fair last Friday at Washington on the Brazos State Park. The students competed in the junior division in exhibits, performances, historical papers, websites and documentary. Placing first and second respectively in exhibits were Kinsley Mendoza and Tyler Chambers. Placing first and second respectively in performances were Leah Hardy and Robin Aguilar. Aidan Hord received first place, while Emma Workman received honorable mention, in the historical paper category. Brady Lawhorn placed first in the website category. In the documentary category, Maddi Rogers received a second place medal. The seven students receiving first and second places will advance to the state competition on April 28 in Austin.
