BRENHAM JUNIOR HIGH DUKE AND DUCHESS NAMED
The Brenham Junior High Duke and Duchess were announced today during a pep rally.
Eighth graders Presli Allie and Jared Zwahr were named the Duke and Duchess of 2016. They will ride together in the Homecoming Parade in Brenham on Wednesday.
The candidates for Duchess included: Presli Allie, Kramer Eschete (Esh-tay), Kayci Pharaon, Kate Roberts, Rachel Saunders, Lilly Jones, Jenna Hardy, Abby Stolz, Leona Hernandez and Alexus Loud.

The candidates for Duke included: Landon Benson, Reginald Delaney, Jacob Counts, Ian Cales, Jake Kolkhorst, Jordan Alvarez, Jared Zwahr, Lee Graves, Ben Bosse and Keaton Altman.

The Homecoming Parade will kick off at 6:30. This year’s theme is “Proud to be an American”. KWHI will have live coverage of the parade, and the Friendly Country Cruiser will make an appearance in the parade.
