BRENHAM MAN ANNOUNCES PLANS TO RUN FOR MAYOR
The next Brenham City Election may be more than a year away, but there’s already someone considering a run for Mayor. Dr. Gary Gabriel, a Brenham chiropractor, says he intends to run for Mayor in the May 9th 2015 election.
The 61 year old Gabriel says, if elected, his focus would be on jobs, law enforcement and infrastructure. He would also like to get Brenham City Council members more active with the citizens of Brenham. Gabriel intends to spend the next year visiting with people about the City and the mayoral position.
Brenham’s current mayor, Milton Tate Jr., has been serving since 2003. When contacted by KWHI, Tate said as of now, he plans to run for reelection next year.
