BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER FLEEING ACCIDENT SCENE
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces charges after an early-morning accident Sunday.
Just after 1:00 a.m., local police were dispatched to an accident in the 1700 block of State Hwy 105.
Dispatch advised that the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles had fled the scene of the crash on foot.
The driver, identified as 23-year old Rodrigo Sanchez of Brenham, was found walking in the 2400 block of State Highway 105.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid. Sanchez was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the Scott and White ER by Washington County EMS for possible injuries.
