BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY
A Brenham man has been arrested on pair of warrants.

44-year old James Clyde Anthony was arrested today (Wednesday) on charges of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse.
Washington County Sheriff’s investigators say Anthony is accused of stealing a wallet, credit cards, cash, cell phone, and other items from a vehicle parked at Pecan Park on Lake Somerville on August 23rd.
Anthony was reportedly then seen on surveillance video that same morning using the stolen credit card at the Lakeside Store on State Highway 36 N to buy groceries, cigarettes, and gas.
Anthony was already being held in the Washington County Jail on four other warrants.
Bond has been denied.

I would help anyone who is hungry or out of gas (not cigarettes) but don’t steal from people. Is it really worth it at the end of the day? The article does not say if he is a repeat offender. Maybe there is hope and a lesson is learned.
