BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANT CHARGES

  

Police make an arrest of a Brenham man for an outstanding warrants.

On Thursday, around 1:30, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop of a driver on Brooks Lane and Watts Road.

Dispatched informed Dudenhoeffer that the driver, 37 year old Willie Lee Williams, Jr. had an outstanding warrants for Driving While License Invalid with Prior Convictions and Theft by Check.

Williams was arrested and taken to the Washington county Jail. While there, he was searched and a baggie that was determined to contain cocaine was found in Williams’ pockets.

Williams was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
