BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO 75 YEARS IN PRISON FOR INDECENCY WITH A CHILD
A Brenham man was sentenced to 75 years in prison on Monday after being found guilty of indecency with a child.

50-year-old Everett Webb was sentenced by Judge Kyle Hawthorne in the 85th District Court in Brazos County.
Last month, Webb was found guilty of engaging in sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl.
According to police reports related to his September 2013 arrest, Webb ripped off the 16-year-old’s bra and shirt in his truck as they were driving to a store on Villa Maria Road. He then proceeded to lick the girl’s legs, chest, and belly button. Police say the girl tried to escape, but she couldn’t because the doors were locked.
Webb has maintained his innocence.
Webb’s indecency with a child by sexual contact charge, a second degree felony, was enhanced to a felony in the first degree after he pleaded guilty to a burglary of habitation charge from February 2011.
