BRENHAM MAN SHOT IN HOUSE

  

A Brenham man was shot with a small caliber bullet while he was sitting in his home in the 700 block of Brown Street Friday night.

Sixty-two year old Richard Evans reported to Brenham police officer Justin Schiller that he was inside his house when he felt something that felt like a softball hit him in the upper part of his body,. Officer Schiller found a small hole in his bloody shirt and a bullet hole in his upper torso.   An EMS crew took Evans to the emergency room where doctors found a small caliber bullet in his liver.  There was no suspects in this case.  Evans is in stable condition.
