A Katy man is in custody after his arrest in Brenham on outstanding warrants.

Tuesday night around 5:00, Cpl. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of US 290 East.

After checking the driver’s status, Klehm was told the driver, 31-year old Jose Robert Figueroa Jr., of Katy, had a warrant out for his arrest out of Angelina County on a burglary charge.

Figueroa was taken to the Washington County Jail.

  1. Criminal? He hasn’t even gone to trial. The gentleman is innocent until proven guilty.

  2. Great Job Brenham PD!! Another example of how a simple traffic stop can result in getting a criminal off the streets.
