BRENHAM PEDESTRIAN INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT, SUNDAY MORNING

  

Authorities were called out to an auto-pedestrian accident in Brenham, early Sunday morning.

Just after 1:00 a.m., a pedestrian was struck in the 2600 block of Gun and Rod Road, near the entrance to Gun and Rod Estates, by a northbound vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 21-year old male, whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital by EMS ambulance with unknown injuries.

The driver stopped and assisted authorities at the scene.

The Brenham Fire Department assisted with aerial photographs of the scene for accident recreation.

The investigation into the accident continues.
