Brenham Planning and Zoning Commissioners at their meeting Monday unanimously approved a request from Brenham Wholesale Grocery to rezone 2.1 acres of property next to Old Chappell Hill Road, South Blue Bell Road, and Harrell Road.

The property was rezoned from a manufactured home residential use district to industrial use, which would allow Brenham Wholesale to develop a convenience store there by right.  The city council will have to approve the request before it becomes final.

Also at Monday’s meeting, commissioners unanimously approved a final plat of the Vintage Farms Subdivision, consisting of over 17 acres of residential property on Highway 36 North, near Dixie Road.
