BRENHAM PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO DISCUSS NEW SUBDIVISION

  

Brenham may have get a new subdivision on its east side, pending approval of the Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday.

A 10 lot subdivision called Oak Alley is being planning north of the intersection of South Blue Bell Road and Mustang Road on the east side of Brenham.  During their Monday afternoon meeting, the Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will consider approval of a final plat for the subdivision, which sits on 3.61 acres.

Also on the agenda for the P&Z is a request for a specific use permit to operate a carpentry/upholstering shop involving furniture manufacturing at 1000 East Blue Bell Road.  The 1.238 acre property is zoned B-1 Local Business/Residential Mixed Use, and requires a special use permit for such a business.

The Ralston Creek Estates Planned Development District is also seeking approval of an amendment to its plan.  Ralston Creek Estates consists of 60.4 acres bounded by East Stone Street to the north, south Blue Bell Road to the east, and Gun & Rod Road to the South.

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission meets Monday at 5:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Brenham Municipal Building on Vulcan Street.
