  1. I just do not understand why people don’t understand…….It’s not IF you get caught, it’s WHEN you get caught !

So for you weed heads move out, go away, don’t entice our children with supposedly good reasons for trying or using.

You all are so lucky there are states that have legal recreational laws………so go there so you will not have to worry about being arrested and have a record.

Instead of putting your efforts into legalizing marijuana in Texas, which will not happen anytime soon !!!!! Just move on to a different state, get high, and enjoy!!!!!

In other words,. WE DON’T WANT YOU HERE !!!!

    1. It also says she was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug, so clearly it was something more than marijuana.

    2. And yet the fact remains, pot is still NOT legal in Texas. Also just FYI -dust off the map and double check your facts. None of the 4 states bordering Texas (Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico & Oklahoma) allows recreational pot. If you are referring to Colorado- it is TWO states over as it does not border Texas.

      1. Medical marijuana is legal in every state touching our border. Only a matter of time before the same happens here. Too many people suffer from various ailments should be allowed to seek alternative forms of treatment, legally.

        1. If it pains you to live in Texas; then move, I for one will not miss you. Law Enforcement; thank you for doing your job and keeping or roads safe.

        2. Again – read the story. She was arrested for POM and possession of a dangerous drug. She wasn’t just the innocent, law abiding citizen carrying a small amount of “medical marijuana” for her “ailments”, she was also in possession of some other illegal drug. My guess is if all she had was a little bit of weed she might have been cut loose; cops let those people go all of the time. But when you’re hauling around some other illegal drugs….
