BRENHAM POLICE MAKE TWO DWI ARRESTS

  

Brenham police made two driving while intoxicated arrests Tuesday.  One was from an outstanding warrant and another second offense DWI came after a minor traffic violation.

Brenham police officers found 52-year old Kurt Cowert of Brenham in the 300 block of Germania at 3:42pm.  He had been arrested for DWI  earlier but did not show for his court hearing.  Cowert was arrested on a warrant.

A 25-year old Brenham man was arrested for a second offense driving while intoxicated charge after a late night traffic stop in the 400 block of South Austin.

Adam Schock appeared to be intoxicated during the stop and he failed a field sobriety test.   He also took a blood test and police are awaiting the results.
