BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO GIVE UPDATES MONDAY
The Brenham School Board will provide a pair of updates at its meeting Monday evening.
Board members will give a mid-year instructional update, followed by an update from Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson on the 86th Legislature.
In consent agenda, the board will look at additional CTE courses for Brenham High School for the next school year. In addition, it will consider an out of state band trip to Orlando, Florida in March of 2020.
The board will also recognize the VFW District 17 Teacher of the Year, as well as the first LEGO Research and Competition teams. It will also recognize this month’s recipient of the “You Make a Difference” award.
Board members will also hear a Watch D.O.G.S. presentation, and hold an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
The school board will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m., in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.
