BRENHAM SEES INCREASE IN BUILDING PERMITS DURING 2016
Building permits issued in the City of Brenham for 2016 far outreached those issued in the previous year.
Permits issued in 2016 totaled $46,752,735, compared to 2015’s total of $33,010,128.
During the month of December 2016, $1,772,221 in building permits were issued. The largest permit issued was $686,397 for an interior remodel at REM Chemicals Inc. A $500,000 permit was issued for a new commercial building at T Wellman Construction.
Three permits were issued for new residences during the month of December.
