BRENHAM SWIMMERS NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-STATE
The Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association has released the Academic All-State selections for Swimming, and three Brenham swimmers have been honored.
To qualify, they must be a junior or senior and lettered either as a junior or senior and have a minimum GPA of 3.750 or 93.75 of the grade scale the school uses.
Brenham Swimmers honored are seniors Blake Kruse and Sarah Kirby; and junior Shayle Woods.
This past season, Kirby was: 1st team All-District; TISCA All-State Honorable Mention 200 & 400 Free Relays.
Kruse was, All-District Honorable Mention.
Woods was, 1st team All-District; 2nd team All-Region; TISCA 2nd team All-State 500 Free; TISCA All-State Honorable Mention 200 & 400 Free Relays.
