Lions Clubs across Washington County have been active in their efforts to encourage children to live a drug-free lifestyle.
The Brenham Evening Lions, Washington County Ladies Lions, and Noon Lions Clubs recently hosted the annual Say No to Drugs campaign, known as Red Ribbon Week, for 4th grade students in Brenham and Burton ISD.

The clubs handed out wrist bands to children as part of the drug awareness week in the schools.
Lions across the nation participate in October drug awareness each year.
