A Bryan man has been arrested in a case involving the death of a 3-year old Bryan girl.
KBTX is reporting that a man living with Virginia Adams, the mother of the victim, was arrested just hours after a body, believed to be that of Rayven Shields was discovered.
51-year old Patrick Wayne Wilson, Sr. was arrested Saturday on a tampering charge and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Authorities have confirmed that Wilson lives at the home on State Highway 21 in Bryan where the victim and her mother last resided.
Detectives discovered the remains of a child in a garden area of the backyard while executing a search warrant related to the disappearance of Rayven Shields.
Last week Adams was arrested on charges of interfering with a custody order.
Police are still waiting on positive identification on the remains.
