BRYAN MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT IN BURLESON COUNTY

DPS Troopers are investigating a single-vehicle crash resulting in a fatality in Burleson County.

Around noon on Tuesday, a 2000 Chevrolet pick-up was driving westbound on FM 60—east of County Route 428, near Lyons—when the driver crossed into the eastbound ditch.

The truck then crossed back over into the westbound ditch, where it would hit a culvert at a private road.  Upon hitting the culvert, the truck flipped over onto its roof, killing the driver and injuring a passenger.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Joshua Medina of Bryan, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The 16-year-old passenger was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, with undetermined injuries.

Texas DPS is still investigating the crash.
