BRYAN POLICE SEARCH FOR CRASH SUSPECT
Bryan police continue their search for the driver of a vehicle that slammed into an apartment building on Christmas day.
There were four people in the SUV that drove into the living room of a lower-level residence at the Poplar Renaissance Apartment Community.
Police say the driver took off running from the scene of the crash and left behind a 59-year-old man who was trapped in the rubble. He was rescued by Bryan firefighters and sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
A 12-year-old in the vehicle also suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. A 20-year-old passenger was not injured.
The man who lives in the apartment was not home when it happened.
Police say alcohol could be a factor.
